Our kids are always looking for ways to be creative and make things themselves. We usually come up with a few ideas to make Mother’s Day gifts for the grandmothers. The kids wanted a few (or as our 4-yr old says, “3 million thousand”) new ideas. We searched for fresh, new gift ideas for Mother’s Day, all of which are really inexpensive (think Dollar Store), and are sharing them all with you!

Mod Podged Notebook

I made one of these to cover my homeschool planner. Easy project, and really cute if you use the mini comp books suggested (unlike the regular-sized book I used)!

Sharpie Mugs

Kids would love any excuse to write on something they aren’t allowed to write on. So would I.

Thumbprint Family Tree

I could see this being an awesome gift from the kids.

Jewelry Holder

This is really pretty, and easy to customize with a favorite color or two.

DIY Dry Erase Message Board

Don’t forget to write a sweet note on the board when giving this gift.

Relaxing Lavender Bath Salts

What mom wouldn’t love a soothing bath?! Alone?!?!

DIY Mason Jar Sewing Kit

A free printable is available with this tutorial. I think I may make this for my mom and myself!
